Home automation in 1983

This wasn’t Alexa. This was Aquarius.

The mighty Mattel Aquarius with X-10 controller.

The Mattel Aquarius was on the market in the UK for what felt like 25 minutes. Like most of the new home computers being released around this time, a huge pile of peripherals was announced, many of which never actually appeared. I don’t know if this one ever did.
